A few months ago I made the mistake of walking into the local bike shop, Pro Peloton.
I’d seen full-page ads in VeloNews for the TIME RXR for months and this was the first time I saw one up close in person. One thing leads to another and next thing I’m on back in the shop 3 days later on the fit cycle getting all measured up for a new rig….
It was like a blur, the bank accounts consulted, the wife cajoled, and the credit card swiped. A month later she shows up and gets built.
Below is how she started her life in the TIME Factory in France. Everything from spool of carbon fiber is hand assembled.
I’ve had it out now for a couple hundred miles and it is hands-down the most awesome bike I’ve ever ridden. Light, stiff, responsive and still super-comfortable.
Last weekend I rolled it out into the front yard and took a series of shots of the finished product.
Hey Walter - Nice bike. I know who I am going to keep my eye on during Wednesday morning rides... Can't let you get up the road on that thing, it'll be all over.
